Application

Technosilos designs silos for the storage of bulk products and their pneumatic transfer for the food, minerals, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

Outdoor storage silo are made of food grade aluminum alloy (AlmG3) and are particularly suitable for storing bulk products such as flour, sugar, or starch.
Resistant to corrosion and weatherproof, , the storage silos are installed outdoors on a concrete slab or supported on a metal frame. Our storage silos are designed for chronological discharge of products (FIFO). They can be supplemented with equipment such as a dehumidifier to reduce the cleaning intervals or a weighing for stock control in real-time.
The indoor storage silos are made of high tenacity polyester (HTP). Our HTP silos are twice as resistant to shearing and tearing as a standard canvas. They allow electrostatic charges to be naturally evacuated from the ground and guarantee healthy storage of materials by natural ventilation. The HTP polyester is perfectly dust-tight to guarantee the cleanliness of the storage room. Indoor storage silos are generally equipped with weight cells for real-time stock control.

The mixing silos combine the functions of storage and mixing of bulk products. They allow different batches of the same product to be mixed/homogenized in the same storage silo. The mixing silos are generally used in the recycling and blending industries, for materials in the form of crushed products, pellets, or aggregates.

Pneumatic transfer systems allow powdered or granulated solids to be conveyed from silos or bag discharge to the points of use: mixers, extruders, or process tanks.
Vacuum conveying systems allow to convey materials from several silos to a point of use by dust free. Positive conveying systems are commonly used to transfer materials from one silo to multiple points of use. The conveying pressure is higher and allows materials to be conveyed up to more than 120 m.
