To meet its modernization needs and secure the delivery of bulk sugar, Mars Food has selected Technosilos for its last Sauces unit based on Hygiene and Food Safety criteria.
The silos operate 7 days a week – 365 days a year with regular inspection / cleaning intervals. The bypass of the pneumatic conveying circuits makes it possible to inspect one silo while continuing to operate on the second.
The double skin silos in Aluminum Almg3 and the continuous dehumidification device prevent the formation of condensation. Their hygienic design with rounded edges for the roof and extraction cone allow a perfect fluidity of the material and avoid retention.
The deagglomeration device at the silo outlet dissolves possible sugar agglomerates before they are fed to the pneumatic conveying circuit.
